vlc media player clock

Postby rgo5 » 09 Jul 2010 23:44

Dear forum,

I have a question about the vlc media player. I used a camcorder
(Canon Vixia HF 100) to record videos, and I downloaded them
to my computer. However, when I play the videos on the vlc media
player, even though the video and audio work perfectly fine, the clock,
which seems as though it should indicate the number of elapsed seconds in the playback, never shows any numbers. If I view a video from another source, these numbers show up and track the playback fine. This only happens
for the videos from the camcorder, and I was wondering if anyone knows how I might get the seconds to show when playing back videos from a Canon camcorder.

thanks!
