Any good plugins for streaming television?

Awhile back when VLC still supported Shoutcast, there used to be great streaming stations with 24/7 King of The Hill, Family Guy, Futurama, etc.

I know VLC doesn't support Shoutcast anymore, but even through checking with the official Winamp client, it seems these stations are dead and gone all around.

Can anyone recommend an alternative, if it exists?
