channels.conf working on 1.0.5 not 1.1.0

Postby deckard7 » 27 Jun 2010 11:59

Hello everybody,

I use vlc to watch TV, I had no problems while I was using VLC 1.0.5, but now I'm using VLC 1.1.0 and I can't watch most of the channels, it simply shows the black screen, and I'm using the same channels.conf file than with 1.0.5 version, so where is the problem??

Here I show you a small part of the channel list of the channels.conf file that I'm unsing

La 1:770000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:101:103:530
La 2:770000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:201:203:531
ANTENA 3:858000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:301:303:140
Telemadrid:810000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:111:115:421
Telecinco:850000000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_2_3:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_4:HIERARCHY_NONE:203:303:180

And here the debug trace when I try to watch one of the channels that is not working

I have the same problem playing DVB or any video, can you try the things that I comment in this forum thread ? --> VLC 1.1.0 XV Video Overlay not working.

Regards.

Somehow I doubt that he would have problem using XV when he is using BDA (which is a Windows thing).

Programs ID selection is somewhat broken in 1.1.0. Please retry with a 1.1.1 prebuild.
