I have a series of AVIs that fail to play back audio or video. Their is no error and the play bar progresses, but no audio or video.
This file fails in WMP, DivX and QT. Most just indicated it was not a supported format, where as DivX at least said I needed to installing additional Direct Show Filters, so I downloaded and installed DSF from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia ... Pack.shtml and still have problems.
Any feedback/help would be much appreciated. I'm not sure what is special or different about these AVI files.

Those files are probably broken.
