Streaming Megavideo Videos through VLC Player

I downloaded VLC player mainly because videos uploaded on megavideo.com quite often have their audio out of sync and I have read that VLC has an audio-video sync conctrol. However I seem to be unable to play videos from megavideo through VLC player. I copy their URL into the adress slot under network in advanced open file (which works for videos off youtube) but the video will not play. If anyone can help me I would be very grateful. My VLC version is 0.9.8a.

I have the same question: How to play Megavideo & Justin TV in VLC player. I have noticed VLC player consumes less resourses than regular playing on Internet explorer. Help

1. Get a megavideo url. (I'll use this as an example.)

2. Click "Download Original" button above the seek bar and copy the "URL of File", it should look something like this.

3. Open VLC Player and goto "Media > Advanced Open File", then click the "Network" tab. Paste the copied link into the "Address" text box.

4. Click Play and enjoy.

I can't find "Download Original" button above the seek bar . Would you please describe where and how to find it. Thanks

only works if u are premium on megavideo if u want to get the url out of megavideo to play on vlc just use replay media catcher to rip out the url enjoy it on vlc
