Save/Conversions

I am sure this is not a troubleshooting question, but i cannot fond any place to really ask this? I ripped a VOB file with DVD Dycrypter. It plays as it should with VLC. I have the option with VLC to enhance the audio and video, which is what I am trying to do. What i cannot figure out is how to save it back as a VOB or use the converter. The only format I can get anything to save in is some adobe format. (.ps) If I could get the enhancements to at a minimum save in another format, I could convert it back to VOB with the changes. It is a short video clip on tornado safety. but the audio lacked "punch" during the tornado scenes.
