Video Wall with 3 displays on a Mac (Video Spanning)

Postby MarkoS. » 31 Mar 2010 10:28

Hi All.

I am starting to create a displaywall, consisting of 3 displays next to each other. Every display has a native solution of 1920x1080.
So the full resolution of all displays will be 5760*1080px.
On This screen I wanted to present a movie, with 3072x576px, which is spanned over all three displays.

Tried to work on this like:
/Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/VLC --walls-cols=3 --walls-rows=1 /Users/markos/Desktop/mainstage

But anyhow it does not work. Next to it, the movie will habe 3 different audiotracks, which needs to be directed by an audio interface.

If anybody could help me with this, I would be very glas.

Looking forward and thanks a lot.

Marko

You have to activate the wall video filter!
