Dual Screen Issues

Postby Thompson » 04 Apr 2010 13:54

I have 2 screens and I want to play games like Far Cry 2, Evil Genius and Grand Theft Auto IV on my main screen (1280x1024 BenQ FP72E) and watch Scrubs or Movies or whatever on my second screen (1024x786 IBM L150/L150P).

I've seen the previous topic on this subject and disabling Accelerated Video Output and using different Output Module doesn't do a thing.

Is there any way to fix this, I tried to do the same thing when I was using XP to no avail and i'm on 7 now with no differing results.
If there is currently no way to fix this, is there any plan to try and figure out a way to support multiple screens in forthcoming releases?

Thanks. :D

What is the current behaviour that you are experiencing?
Providing logs, messages, configuration info (VLC, OS, Hardware) and a clear explanation of the issue always helps the problem solvers help you, even if they don't end up solving the issue. Just think what you would need if you were solving someone else's problem. Additional: Always looking for eager and capable MacOS X developers to join the VLC team - for more information see here.

The video either freeze frames and the audio continues or the screen goes black and audio continues.

Also, Windows Media Player works fine too.
