Defining Esc to Toggle Fullscreen Mode

I'd like Esc to toggle Fullscreen. The default is Enter. When I try to define Esc as Fullscreen using Tools --> Preferences --> Hotkeys it will not let me.

I've found on the Web that I should be able to enter

% vlc --key-fullscreen 'Esc'

somewhere, but I have no idea where.
