When I open a file in VLC, it puts the file name on the bottom of the screen for a couple seconds. Normally this isn't a problem and hasn't bothered me. However, I'm putting together a fansite and am using VLC's ability to auto-screencap episodes and that file name text shows up in the first 10-15 screencaps. It shouldn't be a big deal really, but it's shown up in some very important and graphics-usable areas of the shots, and I'd like to be able to remove it so that I can get clean pictures to put on my website.
Is there any way to turn off that option to display the file name when the file is opened?
Again, my apologies if this has been gone over before, but I would really appreciate any help I can get, even if it's just a "no, you can't do that". Thanks!
