DVD Widescreen issue

DVD Widescreen issue

When wacthing a dvd that is set to wide screen,
there is nothing to do to cover the entire screen.
I have a wide screen monitor so I figures, easy as pie,
but vlc only changes the aspect ratio of the movie as it would be shown on a tv.

'A' changes the aspect ratio, whereas 'C' crops the video.
