ts warning: discontinuity received 0x0 instead of 0x8 (pid=2

Postby boom0192 » 25 Jan 2010 19:23

I wrote a streamer. I am sending the same clip twice. Between the two clips I am incrementing the PAT and PMT version numbers and I am then setting the discontinuity indicator. The first time the clip plays fine, the second time I get the below message. I have tried to increase the size of the UDP cache from 300ms to 3000ms and it still had problems. This problems happens with a number of different clips not necessarily the same clip being played twice. The same streams plays fine on a STB I have. I suspect I am doing something wrong but I don't know what. Do I need to also increment the transport id in the PAT? I can supply a small 15 second clip that causes this behavior. I am using the latest 1.0.3. When I was using 1.0.1 it gave me messages as if the discontinuity indicator wasn't being taken. In this version it just says "Buffering X%"" with an increasing value of X. I would be grateful for any help. Thanks.
