hi i have a problem play and MKV file type. i was just wondering if VLC should play these filetypes and if it should then any ideas what the problem may be.
Note: I believe the problem may be connected to the fact i believe this is a blu ray video
Another Note: there is no prblem with the audio only the picture appears distorted, pixelated..

Having this same issue myself. Not entirely sure why.

Which VLC version are you using ?
Where is the messages log ?
What is the file ? Where is a short sample showing the problem ?
