I just looked at the vlcmediaplayer.org website. It looks like a potential scam site. Nothing's popped up on google about it, but it downloads VLC from preview.licenseacquisitions.org. That site seems to be linked to some adware companies. The install program also makes a warning pop up when using Avast.
