Playing BD RIP

Postby valeto » 04 Jan 2010 15:10

HI everyone!
I'm brand new for this forum. So, please forgive my future stupid questions, but i'm really trying:-)))
Could anyone advise me is it possible to watch a BD Rip with VLC player. Several movies on my HDD had many subfolders with audio and video streams, subtitles, etc. The file structure is similatr to the DVD one. I presume with different menus for languages, subtitles,...
Thank you in advance for your cooperation

VLC cannot playback Blu-ray discs/the Blu-ray file structure ATM. VLC can however playback most of the codecs used on Blu-ray discs, so if you were to convert the Blu-ray video to a format such as TS/MKV file. For more information etc. have a look at the Doom9 forum.

Cheers, Arite.
