Interlaced Problems while recording from rtp server

Postby Fensterplatz » 10 Dec 2009 11:08

I'm recording a rtp stream provided by t-home in Germany.

I want that VLC records the file without changing the properties, so I disable the transcoding.

The signal I get schould be a Interlaced signal. The file I get is progressive video and there is an deinterlacing problem which is in line with the GoP-strukture. It is a 16-4 strukture. So every fourth picture is Ok. In the others the fields are horizontal shifted to the other.

Do anyone now how I can record the fields separeted or explain what VLC does with the interlaced signal while recording.

Thanks
