Problem with saving my settings

I go through the whole settings interface fixing it up the way I like and I save and when i go back into settings, only about 1/4 of the changes i made stick.

What am i doing wrong and how do i fix it? Tyvm in advance.

P.S I searched for this problem and I found nothing so forgive me if it has already been asked.
