port selection in openURL

I see, the developers had blocked choosing of a port for http/https streaming in 1.0.0+ versions.
Please turn it back: it`s now too uncomfortable to use vlc with movino (port range 31700-31800) and some other software.
I hope, I`ve guessed write where this topic should be…

In the address field for http[s] protocols, have you tried to use this syntax:
