I can't see the timer and subtitle when i play ts files

I can't see the timer and subtitle when i play ts files

Hi

I have a problem i have a movie witch is in ts format .When i try to play the movie with VLC the play of ts is OK but when i try to input a subtitle from
video-----> subtitles track ( input) i can not see anything.
Also i can see the timer (the during of movie) and this i need it because i want to syncronize the sub title with movie

This problem i have always to try play .ts movies

What did can i do with these ploblems??

Any help please ???
