***************** VLC cannot run IGMP Stream

Hi there ,
i am streaming from a flamingo server , if i turn on RTP for the stream , i can watch the stream normaly on VLC , if i trun it off i can only hear sound .
i need the Rtp to be off to use my Set top box , i tried to use igmp@//ip:port ( i cant remember the syntax right ) , but it didnt work.
i am using igmp v2 .
any idea ????????????????????????

This does not even make sense. IGMP is the kernel's business, not VLC's, and you cannot carry data on IGMP.

Either you use RTP (rtp://) or you use plain MPEG-TS over UDP (udp://).

igmp://ipaddr:port is the proprietary syntax used on Amino STBs for raw UDP.

With VLC and all standard media players you need to use udp://ipaddr:port

can u plz give me the command to play mpeg-ts through stream something like : Mpeg-ts://iP:port

or does that means that i cannot play igmp if rtp is disabled ?

tried udp://ipaddr:port but didnt work :S
remember i have RTP disabled
but if i enable it i can play the stream easily using rtp://IP:port
