DVB DiSEqC command

Postby qbjorn » 25 Oct 2009 02:56

I'm trying to setup desktop icons to allow me to quickly tune into my favourite channels where those icons include the start command selecting adapter, frequency, program et.c.
It works well for dvb-t and for my first satellite in my DiSEqC setup, however I cannot find out how to change the DiSEqC switch.
The --dvb-range is supposed to be the command to control DiSEqC, but I can't find any documentation describing what it should be.
I of course tested using integers 0,1,2 and some others for the channels that I have working, but nothing happens.
Is it possible to get vlc to send a correct command to a DiSEqC switch and if so, what should it be for a standard 4-1 switch (AA, AB, BA, BB)?
It would also be interesting to know if it can send further commands to 'committed' switches (i.e. input 1, 2 et.c.) but getting out any DiSEqC command is good enough!
