Glitchy VOB files

Postby m42a » 21 Oct 2009 05:40

When I play "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" DVD, it works fine. However, when I play the .VOB files individually, it doesn't render properly and the audio skips and the time display is halved (for current and total). This doesn't happen with the other DVD I have (Dr. Horrible's sing along blog).

Through menus:

I'm running Vista Home Premium SP2 and using VLC 1.0.2 Goldeneye.
I have an HP dv9535nr with a T8300 processor.

Try "no dvd menus" option
Else, delete your %appdata%/dvdcss folder.

Deleting the dvdcss folder did nothing.
I don't know what you mean by "no dvd menus," I'm trying to play the .VOB directly.
