Can someone please recommend me some compatible video card to be installed into my Mandrake Linux 9.1 computer in order to run the VLC Media Player to stream video from the VCR?

I would guess the easiest video card to install would be the matrox 450 or 550. by easiest I mean it has the most compatiblity with linux and you will not have to hunt down and install video drivers for it ( such as you might if you use a nvidia card. but I sure there are more linux savy people then me who could give a better recommendation. but if you bought a full version mandrake then a nvidia card is a good choice too ( nvidia package comes with it)
