Increaseing cache value is crashing VLC at end of video

Postby Ziiar » 11 Oct 2009 20:03

On XP pro with VLC version 1.0.2...

I was having some shuddering issues with 1080p mkv videos, so I increased the cache value which solved the shuddering problem but caused a new one. The video gets cut off at the end by whatever cache value I have (4 seconds for a a cache of 4000ms for example), and VLC crashes right when it reaches that point. VLC freezes on one frame and I can't use any of the commands or close the program, though I can still minimize and maximize it. This makes watching several videos in a play list impossible. Any help would be really be appreciated.
