Bug found in 0.82--screenshot option

Postby chinapoppi » 02 Feb 2005 22:29

Hi~

I found a bug in the beta of 0.82 screenshot option~!

The default setting to save image in WinXP is: "My Pictures"
But if you change directory, this is where the bug comes in~! (some people do not like the MyPics folder--myself included~)

Selected a snapshot:

(for some reason, the "captured" video is not appearing in this created imagefile~)

It created a file:

When you open it---you receive this blank screen:

Sorry to provide the bad news~!

I couldn't reproduce the problem, with Win2K. I verified that pictures stored in My Pictures OK, then I changed the directory to c:\temp, and new images were stored there, no problem with them.

markfm~

Thank you for trying, but I think that WinXP with SP2 might be causing this problem (I should have stated that, yes~?)

I just thought the Techs should know about this possible flaw~

zaijian~~ :P

Just checked on my home system -- WinXP SP2, Home Edition. Changing the snapshot directory worked OK -- files were fine.

Pehaps try a newer nightly build? The one I'm using I compiled on 1 Feb.

i think this can occur when VLC drops a frame or something. I have seen it once on my system as well.
