VLC on a Mac running YellodDogLinux

Hello,
is outhere a pakage to install VLC on a Mac running YellowDogLinux 3?

I'm a newbie with linux so i don't know if i need a specific package or i have just to download sources and compile it from zero. Any help?

At present, no binary package for YellowDogLinux exists as far as we know. You need to download VLC's sources and the ones of the third party libraries and compile everything on your own. Please have a look at this document for details.
