[1.0.0] Subtitles displayed about 1s too late

Postby langenscheidt » 10 Aug 2009 15:52

Hello

I'm using VLC 1.0.0 for Windows. I downloaded the AVI and SRT files for a US televisions series, but the subtitles were made for other files, and they're displayed about 1 second too late.

Is there a way to tell VLC to show them earlier, so that they match what's being said in the soundtrack?

Thank you.

Yes, use the synchronisation dialog.

Thanks. For those interested, it's the "Advance of subtitles over video" item in the Tools > Track Synchronization dialog.
