Sudden Problem playing Video on My TV

Postby rafiel » 28 Jul 2009 05:54

This is my first post here. I've been using VLC for about 6 months to play my downloaded movies on my TV and since updating the player 2 days ago I get no video on the TV. I get good video and audio on the laptop and my desktop shows on the TV screen but the player is totally dark. I use the monitor clone feature in Windows. I have been doing this all along with no problem until 2 days ago when I upgraded the player. Windows media player plays the very same movie as does the Divx player. Streaming video plays from the laptop to the Tv as always. Some how the format or the codec has changed in the VLC player. I tried doing a system restore nut it didn't help and the same thing unistalling the new player update and reinstalling an older version.

HELP! I love the VLC player
