VLC 1.0.0 and SSM multicast

Postby ccollar » 14 Jul 2009 23:04

Greetings,

I've noticed that the VLC v.1.0.0 for both Windows and Linux does not allow you to open an SSM stream. In previous versions (0.9.9a), the user was able to open an SSM stream by typing the mrl in the "Customize" field, e.g.,

rtp://localhost@232.10.15.10:1234

In 1.0.0, the user is unable to manually edit the mrI, and is unable to remove the initial @ of the mrl by changing the "edit options" field.

any ideas and/or suggestions would be appreciated.
