Hi all,
Just thought I'd bring an issue I'm seeing to light.
It appears that the latest version of VLC (v1.0.0) does not correctly play HD DVB subtitles from transport streams (as in they don't appear). I believe things to have been working in version 0.9.9 and I can say for sure that it works in 0.8.5.
The subtitle option now reads DVB subtitles rather than giving the language the subs are for as it did previously. I am inserting DVB HD subs with DDS using the 0x14 descriptor in the PMT.
Anybody seen this?
This functionality is useful to me as I work as a developer for subtitling software.
