FLV files problem in new version

I recently upgraded to the latest version of VLC, everything seemed normal until I tried to play a FLV file. It was almost unwatchable... the sound was normal, the quality of the picture unaltered but there was a kind of back and forth imaging... like 3 frames forward and one back giving a motion sickness feel... really weird! I uninstall the current version and installed 9.8a and still the same... then I tried again with 9.6 and it fixed the problem! I knew I had seen this archive normally before. So I thougth I'd let you know and I guess I'll be on 9.6 untill it's fixed! Thanks a lot for your wonderful program and all your efforts! You're amazing keep it going! Daniel.
