Suppress Further Errors...

Postby fuyutsuki » 03 Jan 2005 01:52

This one's about VLC on OS X.

Quite often when opening a high resolution xvid video, or anything sufficiently demanding (and its more likely with Azureus on in the background taking up my resources), I get the "Dropped frames - slow computer?" error message. My machine's a PowerBook G4, alright it's not the fastest thing on the planet but it can handle this sort of work just fine  Also I scarcely get the error once a file has gotten underway, its just an occasional irritation more than anything else.

So, my question: can you "suppress further errors" for more than just that one session of video, or VLC, but permanently as a preference?

My wish would actually be for a section in VLC's preferences, where you can choose to always ignore particular errors, like 'dropped frames' or anything else you found coming back to annoy you. But that's just my 2 cents and I'm not a coder so I can only ask and dream
