The way that VLC read vobsub files

Postby Tsukaniki » 11 Apr 2009 15:33

Hi, it's not a real problem with VLC but with a .sub file but my question is related to VLC...
The fact is that i have a sub/.idx file that is perfectly recognize by VLC but not by the vobsub filter.. Vobsub's avidemux' filters, dvobsub filter or vobsub filter for virtualdub show me almost all the sublines but 1 or more lines aren't printed on the video.
All the filters are up to date and the file seems correct.

So, my question is, how VLC read vobsub files ? Is it based on an existing filter ?

PS : Sorry for my bad english :/

VLC decodes subtitles with its own code.
