Convert .mov to .mov without audio?

Postby Rubalc » 13 Apr 2009 18:53

I have some .mov files, taken by my digital camera, that have terrible audio. I'd like to strip the audio from the files completely, leaving me with the original video intact.

I've managed to transcode the files, and remove the audio, but obviously there's a quality loss involved in that, no matter how What I want is something like "dump raw input" (so that the source video isn't altered in any way), but without the audio data included. Can I do this with VLC, and if so, how?

vlc original.mov --no-sout-audio --sout '#std{mux=mp4,dst=noaudio.mov}'
