preload names in playlist?

Postby Lucid » 13 Dec 2004 01:46

Hello there i'm using VLC 0.8.1 with win xp

I'm a pretty new user to VLC and really love this player... its so amazingly light on the system...!!!

But, there is a thing bugging me, and i've tried searching here, but didn't find any answer to it. So here it goes...

As soon as i load a playlist off some sort all the names of the files (for example mp3files) come out with the entire catalogue string that they are in...
for example
c:/blabla/thisandthat/file1.mp3
c:/blabla/thisandthat/file2.mp3
c:/blabla/thisandthat/file3.mp3

and so on...

It changes when the file is being played, and stays changed afterwards... but is there any way to preload the names in the playlist?

sorry if this has been answered a million times already...
