Error message

Postby fathaggis » 16 Mar 2009 23:01

Anytime I open up VLC, I get the following error message which appears in a pop-up on screen

main: no suitable access module for `/Users/jonpetrie/Movies/The Lives of Others/The.Lives.Of.Others.2006.DVDRip.Xvid-TLF.Part2.srt'

This was from a film I had watched that had required me to download a separate subtitle file. I no longer have the movie file or the subtitle file on my computer, yet the message still comes up every time I open up anything at all using VLC.
Any suggestions at how to stop this?
Thanks

You have probably "saved" the subtitle location in your preferences. Remove it, or simply reset your preferences completely.
