Some Topfield .rec-files are choppy

Postby Bombenleger164 » 13 Mar 2009 17:03

Hi folks,

i am recording DVB-S program with an Topfield TF5500PVR. When I copy them to my pc and want to play them with VLC some of the recordings are very very choppy. Other are played perfectly, I think it's up to the tv-station.

I just uploaded such an defect video file to VideoLAN's FTP:
ftp://ftp.videolan.net/incoming/Salesch.rec

The speed of my pc is not the problem, because other recordings with the same bitrate (but other tv-station) are played very well. Also MPlayer plays all the recordings accurate.

Do you have any solutions for this problem or could it even be a bug in VLC?

Best wishes,
Sven
