Subtitle: negative delay?

Postby psyclog » 01 Mar 2009 07:34

vlc has a feature to delay the display of subtitles, which is good.

However, I am unable to make use of it for some reason.

First, my subtitles, when out of sync, are always too late and not too soon, and I can't enter negative numbers in the delay box.
Additionally, I have just entered positve numbers for up to 50s and found no change in subtitle behavior, it will always be about 2s late.

g and h keys can adjust subtitles delay in either direction. There may be a bug in the configuration UI.

It's that easy! Why hasn't anyone told me before? ;)
I really found no topic on this board that would answer my question..
