I would like to convert a flv file in a format that can be r

Postby colin_90 » 16 Feb 2009 17:46

Hi as a newbie, I find that I struggle with some of the technical descriptions. I have a *.flv file that I would like to play on a DVD player. I have Nero and Premiere3 but neither will read *.FLV files without a conversion of some sort.

A list of simple steps would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Probably something along the lines of:

vlc file.flv --vout '#transcode{acodec=mp2a,vcodec=mp2v}:standard{mux=ps,access=file,dst=file.mpg}'
