VLC NON DEPARTS

I pray you helped me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I use VLC to see the films on my pc, but I don't succeed anymore for a while!!!!!!!
I hardly launch VLC it jams me the program and to go out I have to go to task manager. Do I use a system Windows XP pro, there and' a solution????
Help!!!!!!!
I cannot be without VLC

try deleting your vlcrc file. It it located somewhere in your Document and settins forder. (sorry not to be more precise)
