video problem

video problem

I have some problem with .vob files, when the motion is fast I see some nasty horizontal lines in the video, it's normal?
the same file in other video codec it's perfect

i have vlc 0.9.8a, win xp sp3, geforce9800
sorry for my english if is wrong

This means that the video is interlaced, which is normal for PAL vob files (R2 european DVDs).

You can try and watch the file normally by experimenting with some of the options like "blend" found in video > deinterlace.
This isn't a permanent solution though, to get rid of the interlacing re-encoding would be necessary.
