Stay on the 2nd soundtrack when switching videos

Postby Lajsingen » 25 Dec 2008 02:13

I'm watching a couple of movies that includes audio commentaries, problem is that to hear the commentary you have to change to the 2nd soundtrack and since I'm watching the videos on my TV I have to walk over to the PC and switch to the 2nd soundtrack. Now to my question.. Is there any setting that makes the VLC player force to stay on 2nd sountrack, if available if not it will stay on 1st soundtrack. Looking forward for an anwer! Thanks!

Im currently trying to figure out the same thing. I encoded a whole bunch of dvds over to mkv format and for some reason the subtitles are automatically coming on. So when I turn them off they come back on the next episode of the playlist, its kind of annoying. I dont know why, most of my encodes are perfectly fine, some are autoing another language and some are autoing subs. but its not a problem if you can get vlc to open a file the same way every time. I dont mind sitting down for 15 mins so I dont have to get up every episode and change the subs to none. or the language to track 2.
