Postby dre1614 » 14 Dec 2008 21:25

I recorded a stream on VLC player, renamed it..... name.MPG
When I open up the file it only plays audio, no video. This is my first time recording something with VLC.

Here is some info that might be of use.
file size: 555mb

Stream and Media info--->Advanced Information

Stream 0
-Codec: mp4a
-Language:
-Type: Audio

Stream 1
-Codec: h264
-Language:
-Type: Video

Thanks for any help, I appreciate it

To help you, we need messages, to completely understand what your problems is.
To fix this, please be sure before you start the playback to:
  1. Open: Tools -> Messages.
  2. Set Verbosity to 2
  3. Start playback to reproduce your issue
  4. Save text in a file or copy into clipboard
  5. Then paste the full resulting log here between [code]and[/code] (or use Pastebin.com if it's too long)
Also don't forget to name your Operating System and provide the VLC media player version.
