Depends what you want to do.

I would like simply to play a video file(existing on the server workstation) from a client terminal.I've found that it's possible in the following way:

"On the VOD server, you need a running Web server. For example, you can use a Linux server running Apache."

I'd like to know if it's possible to realize something like VoD with Helix:
in this case I have to put my video file in a specific folder where Helix server takes it when a client asks it.
