Last.fm and Streaming

I spoke with funman through Last.fm messaging-- apparently he played a part in the scrobbler coding for VLC.

Yes you can ask the VLC developers (I am not anymore with them) to change that.

Streams are disabled per default, to conform to scrobbling protocol 1.1, but I don't see this requirement in newer versions.

I wonder if anyone would be able to help me with this? I miss having my songs scrobbled now that I stream my entire music collection.

Also (excuse me if stating the obvious) have you ensured Last.fm scrobbling is enabled? Go to "Tools >> Preferences... >> Audio" and tick "Enable last.fm submission", enter username and password, press "Save" and restart VLC.
