Playback Speed / Sound

Postby DngnRdr » 02 Oct 2008 12:59

While I realise a lot of people like having the sound while playing faster or slower, is there any way to turn this off so it behaves as it did previously (ie silent when not playing at normal speed). I apologise if this has been discussed.. I tried searching several times but got nothing about how to stop it. Is my only option to revert to an earlier version?? :!:

I've also tried checking and unchecking "allow multiple instances" and it refuses to open more than one window... keeps closing the previous video and opening the new one.

I would advise you to enable to the "scaletempo" audio filter in the advanced preferences. It works pretty well and preserves the normal pitch of the audio when you FF or Slow-play. This filter will be enabled by default on 1.0.0 The previous behaviour is unlikely to return.
