Why do the controls keep popping up and disappearing in FS?

I'm not sure what this is, but ever since I upgraded to v0.9.2, whenever I watch stuff in fullscreen (double clicking on the media player to bring up the fullscreen) the controller keeps popping up, then disappearing, then coming up, then disappearing - etc -- repeatedly. I have no idea how to turn it off but it's very annoying.

Any ideas here?

That's a bug which should be fixed in 0.9.3 I believe.

Have the same problem here, alas, which is quite an annoyance.

I do hope that this will be solved with the new version, good luck, guys! What's the ETA for now? *looks forward to it* (BTW, when there's some HTML with the subtitles, like <I> </I>, they don't show up - I had to remove them manually in Editor. Any idea why? But it's cool that the subtitles now show up in colors!)

dionoea, I should have noted that I'm on Windows.

neenski, it was fixed for Mac but not for Windows users. You can get the update information on videolan.org (not videolan.org/vlc).

I hope that some Windows developers come around soon. I hardly think we're in the minority ... yet.

I have experienced the same VERY ANNOYING bug!!! help! is there a patch under Windows, or shall I downgrade to an older version?

Well with are 0 Windows developers and 1 Windows compiler, 0.9.3 was delayed for Windows users. 0.9.4 is in the process of being made public now and was compiled for the Windows platform.

We still need Windows devs btw.

9 years later, this is happening again. Is it another glitch that came along with the latest update? Is anyone else experiencing this? It's super annoying.

I'm using Mac OS X. El Capitan.
