syncronizing multiple instances of VLC

I have three videos that I am watching on three seperat VLC players, I would like to start/stop/pause at the same time is there a way to control all of them at once?
as a side note
I don't suppose there is a way to play all three videos in one VLC or a way to create a web page to do that?

All videos in one VLC is possible if you use VLM.
