Automatic aspect ratio adjustment

Postby mugenmidget » 17 Sep 2008 20:20

I have some files encoded at a 640x352 resolution, but they're properly displayed in a 4:3 aspect ratio. I can do this right now manually on my own, but I was wondering if there was a way to create a supplemental settings/text file for these videos so that they would automatically know to switch to that ratio upon being loaded?

That's unfortunately not possible yet. (Unless maybe if you add some option in the media library playlist, like :aspect-ratio=4:3 .. but I'm not sure that it's possible to do so)

Yeah, unfortunately I was trying to get it done in the playlist to begin with but it doesn't look like there's any option available. Thanks for the heads up though. :(
