Green/ Pink Bar at bottom of picture using wall filter

Postby andyjimmy » 14 Sep 2008 12:33

I am having an interesting issue with the vlc player, I'm running 0.8.6i and when using the wall filter I get this interesting bar at the bottom of the video, although it doesn't do it with all videos but i can't find a pattern as to why some videos do and some don't. The only pattern that I have found is that the ones that do it are your typical 16:9 videos (although they still have square pixels) and the regular 4:3 videos don't make the bar.

If playing the video without the wall filter on there is no bar.

Any suggestions?

A further update to my issue if I have wall on 3 monitors the bar doesn't appear... my guess is that it has something to do with the 'empty' space at the bottom of the video and its some sort of filler... but how does one get rid of it?

Sounds like a bug. Could you try 0.9.2 once we release it? (We're announcing the release at midnight CET today)
